-tips on job- How to manage your boss

Bring an agenda to every meeting – that way you can work through what you need, and not forget anything. Flatter and give them the credit without being a creep. If you make them look good theyÂ'll like you. Agree with Trula's tip. Also, "communicating up" helps. Always keep your boss informed (briefly!) with what's going on w/ your work. Don't assume she/he already knows this.

Asking for regular reviews and welcoming feedback is another good idea. It engages your boss, makes them feel like you want to succeed/improve and keeps things from sneaking up on you (i.e. a problem that your boss sees and you have no idea that bothers her/him).

-tips on job- Get involved with modelling

All reputable model agenices have certain days of the week when they will have open auditions for "new faces." Call and ask if you can go in and see them. Beware of anyone who charges you a fee for putting a portfolio together. No reputable agency will do this.
